We are excited to begin our journey with Borderdoodles! Fly is a Border Collie that weighs about 30/35 lbs. Her dad is a movie star - he is the dog in the movie called The Stray. Eli is a 25 lb merle Poodle. We have had sheepadoodles from him before as well. Both are clear on health tests via parentage.   We expect these puppies to weigh between 30-45lbs as adults.

As many of you that follow RVD know, we work with our friends, the Cutler Family in Utah for many of our sheepadoodles (our foundation parents are also from them). These borderdoodles are from them - raised by family in a household with family stuff going on. There is no other family we will work with for sheepadoodles, and now we are excited to work with them for these adorable borderdoodles.

This breed mix is known for super intelligence. Be prepared for quick results on training - and also be prepared for them to train you! ;-)

You can pickup at Cheri's house in Rochester, NY - or there is a delivery driver going to Albany/Newburgh on the morning of May 22nd (Saturday).... for $200/puppy paid to the drivers. We can also get you a quote from the drivers for other days or locations.

The puppy's are $2500 + 8% ($200) NYS sales tax if applicable. The deposit to hold one is $500 - this is applied to the balance but it is non-refundable to account for our time and turning away others. The deposit can be paid via Venmo to @Cherrie-Mahon or Cash App is $CherrieMahon. The balance can be paid that way as well, or bring cash at pick up.

I'm sorry - I cannot hold a spot for you without a non-refundable deposit - there are always interested families that I have ongoing conversations with that might send in a deposit at anytime - it is not fair to hold one for you to think on it when there are others that are ready and for sure.

They had their 3rd vaccinations on 5/15 - they are due in 3 to 4 weeks from that date for another and they can also get their rabies shot then. They also have a vet exam / health certificate signed by the vet nothing that each puppy is healthy/normal/all good.

We cannot guarantee the adult size, coat style, or coloring! We are giving our best educated guesstimate.

While we have never had trouble getting great owners for our puppies, we have never before had such demand - we are receiving many inquiries every day as everyone is in a good position with timing now to raise a puppy with the stay at home. Please, if you want one, be ready, prepared, and serious. Puppies are a lot of work!

The puppies of course come with their vaccination records, litter blanket and toys, some food, and our 2 year health guarantee (genetic/congenital). PLEASE NOTE if you are out of NYS: we are able to offer new RVD puppy owners 30 days free pet insurance with Trupanion. There is an online form with a code that needs done within 24 hours of you getting your puppy (24 hour before or 24 hours after).   We have learned that puppies get into quite a bit of trouble and it is highly recommended that every new puppy owner obtain pet health insurance on their puppy/dog. I will email you this info. The free 30 days does not apply for NYS because of NY laws.

If you are high maintenance, or not really ready for a puppy that requires a lot of work, please do not apply! Happy go lucky people do best with puppy raising!

Please also have a backup plan for if you get COVID - who will take care of your puppy if you are sick enough to be hospitalized?

If you think you'd would want to return a puppy, please do not apply. Puppies are not for rent - and it is not fair to the puppy, nor to us. The puppy would have to go through quarantine period if returned and that costs money and is emotionially difficult on the pup.

Please keep in mind, you don't need to work with me, and I don't need to work with you. If you are unsure or want to drill me on questions, you should find someone closer to work with that you can visit and interview. I understand there are scammers out there, but most our applicants are from referrals and I'd prefer you do your due diligence on us by asking people on social media that have our dogs before committing. What is better than a referral?  We continually get rave reviews from our owners and are very proud of that - we have an excellent reputation and only want to work with people that love RVD and respect all the work we have put into this website and our puppy owners.
