Please realize that we are not dog trainers. We are not certified by any association or recorded any professional hours. We have spent our entire lives with dogs though, and we have retained a half dozen great dog trainers over the years, and we have lots of trainer friends - so by default, we can help with some training questions - but it is up to you to obtain a dog trainer and to put in the time and effort to get your puppy the foundation training that he needs, as well as to continue to work on training throughout his life. Don't delay! We find that the most satisfied dog owners have been to puppy training classes and have had dog trainers come visit them in their home. Surprisingly, it is US that needs trained just as much as the dogs. We sometimes don't realize how we are reinforcing bad behavior until a dog trainer points it out.
