F1b Sheepadoodle Puppies
Ready Now
Started Training
~~~ as of 11/11/19, all adopted
~ will post when there are more...
These puppies are mini and moyen sized - anywhere from 30 to 45 lbs is the guesstimate, with maybe the small fella being around 30 lbs and the big merle fella getting to 45/50. We cannot guarantee adult coat style, size, or coloring. These puppers are from Karen / Annie's Puppies in Utah, where we got our sheepie parents from - they are great breeders and love their puppies. We have been doing the started puppy program for about 6 years now, and people love it - instead of an 8/9 week old puppy with no training, these have a little bit of start to them and are easier for you to "finish." Their parents are Alexan x Ernest and there are pics of them at the bottom. Health testing has been done by parentage as well as on siblings and half siblings - they are clear/normal. All inquiries need to come in via an Application - and tell us a bit about you, please. They have their puppy vaccinations, age appropriate, including rabies.
Here is a Shopping List to get your started on your preparations: Shopping List
Basic training was formally started on 9/25 - we only do basic, positive (reward) training. They are started on leash and basic commands with Cheri, as well as trainers with Eastside Dog Services that come by. We work on getting used to traffic and people walking/biking by, as well as socializing with different types of people (men, women, children about the age of 10-15, beards/no beards, hats/no hats, etc.) - we have experienced puppy people come every day, so they are seeing a plethora of people in a safe manner. They also are started on the crate. Training will continue until picked up.
No matter what point you get them, they are still puppies and need continued training. They will bite/nip and chew up stuff. They will likely still have accidents in the house, and will still need to be consistently potty trained, socialized, and given house manners expectations. If you or someone in your family is someone that believes in fear/yelling/hitting to train, please do not apply. We reward the good and gently communicate "eh eh eh/no no" the naughty. It is about teaching them our language, as well as learning theirs.
Pickup is in Rochester, NY at Cheri's, or can be on one of the delivery runs. An application is required, as well as payment in full if you want pup to be held until a delivery. The puppy is yours the day of commitment, just like any puppy being at a trainers by request of an owner. We have a 2 year health guarantee with agreement terms (guarantee on hereditary or congenital issues).
They are $4300+ NY tax, if applicable
They are... +$300 each week on to account for the training/trainers....
We might be able to meet partway on some days, schedule dependent
